Tobacco Free Partnership of Clay County appoints 2017-2018 Advisory Council

ORANGE PARK, FL — The Tobacco Free Partnership of Clay County has appointed its 2017-2018 Advisory Council.  Advisory Council members assume a leadership role in regard to tobacco control, advocacy, education, prevention and policy change in Clay County.

Chief Gary Goble of the Orange Park Police Department, Jose Morales of the Clay County Health Department, and Stephanie Geoghagan with the Clay Action Coalition are returning to the Advisory Council again this year. Tyler Garcia and Tasha Kent both Freshman from Middleburg High School SWAT are new to the Advisory Council this year.

The Tobacco Free Partnership of Clay County is dedicated to the creation of tobacco-free social norms through a combination of community education, youth advocacy, and changes in local tobacco policies.  The mission of the Tobacco Free Partnership of Clay County reflects the goals of the CDC Best Practices, especially with regards to changes in local tobacco policies to create and promote tobacco-free social norms.
